As-salamu alaykum(ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ) Greetings and peace to you! I'm Saifuddin Mahmud, a Ph.D candidate of Computer Science at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. I am a graduate researcher of Advanced Telerobotics Research(ATR) Lab where we are conducting research on developing telerobots, especially for Search and Rescue missions; and immersive technology based multimodal interfaces that can be effectively applied in various real-life applications like Teleoperations, Surveillance Operations, and Mental Heath Therapy. Professor Jong-Hong Kim is supervising the research I'm doing for my doctorate. I earned my M.S. degree from Kent State University in May 2019. Before that, I completed my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh. My research interests span Telerobotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Immersive Technology.
